1. Introduction

Welcome to Televi ("we", "our", or "us"). We are committed to protecting your personal data and respecting your privacy. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our mobile application and website. Our core philosophy is privacy-first: we do not want, nor do we have access to, the sensitive data on your private servers.

2. Information We Collect

To provide you with our services, we collect the following types of information:

• Account Information: When you register, we collect your Full Name and Email Address. This is used exclusively for account creation, authentication, and communication regarding your account.
• Provider connection data: If you turn on cloud sync, the addresses, usernames and passwords of the providers you connect travel through our cloud database (Google Firebase) so they reach your other devices. They are encrypted before they are stored. The key is kept with your account, so every device you sign in to can read them without you having to carry anything from one device to the next. That means we hold the key as well, and could in principle decrypt those details; we do not, and nobody but you can reach them through the app. If you would rather nothing left your device at all, leave cloud sync off.
• Usage & Diagnostic Data: We collect anonymized app usage data (Firebase Analytics), interaction metrics, and crash reports (Firebase Crashlytics) to help us identify bugs, improve user experience, and monitor the stability of the application. This data does not contain any of your private server details or browsing history.

3. Local Network Access (iOS & Android)

Televi requires permission to access your Local Network. This permission is used strictly to find Google Cast devices on your network, so you can send what you are watching to a television. We do not use local network access for tracking, fingerprinting, or any other purpose.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected data for the following purposes:
• To authenticate you and maintain your user session.
• To synchronize your dashboard configuration across your personal devices.
• To analyze app crashes, monitor feature usage, and improve overall performance.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties under any circumstances.

5. Third-Party Service Providers

We utilize trusted third-party services to operate our application:
• Google Firebase: Used for secure user authentication (Firebase Auth), data synchronization (Cloud Firestore), anonymized app telemetry (Firebase Analytics), and crash reporting (Firebase Crashlytics).
• RevenueCat: Used to securely process in-app purchases and subscriptions. We do not store your payment details.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your account information and encrypted configurations for as long as your account is active. You have the right to request the deletion of your personal data at any time.

How to delete your account: You can permanently delete your account directly within the Televi app by navigating to Settings > Account Settings > Delete Account. This action is irreversible and immediately purges all your data from our active databases. You may also email info@televi.app to request manual deletion.

7. Children's Privacy

Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13. If we become aware that we have collected Personal Data from children without verification of parental consent, we take steps to remove that information from our servers.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
